About this app

Tremo turns your phone's accelerometer into a clean, simple vibration meter. It measures shaking around you and shows it as MMI (Modified Mercalli Intensity) — no clutter, just what you need.

◆ What people use it for
• Car vibration & ride comfort — compare how your car feels, in numbers
• Household & neighbor vibration — turn what you feel into a saved record
• Machine & appliance checks — track changes in washer, HVAC or equipment vibration
• Earthquake reference — see roughly how strong that shake you just felt was

◆ Key features
• Real-time intensity — live waveform with a large MMI reading
• Plain-language scale — a one-line description of what the current level feels like
• Time chart — vibration trend per second (30 s to 10 min window)
• Free measurement history — max/average/chart saved per session, with labels
• Vibration alarm — sound and vibration alert above your chosen intensity
• Zero & sensitivity calibration — quickly correct sensor differences between devices
• Gentle reminders — optional morning/evening measurement nudges

◆ Simple and light
• Dark, instrument-style design
• No sign-up, no data collection — every record stays on your device
• No required permissions (notifications are optional)

◆ About accuracy
Readings are for reference only and vary with your device's sensor. Tremo is not a professional instrument and must not be used as an earthquake warning system. For best results, place your phone on a flat surface and calibrate the zero point first.
