I got this when it was a Kickstarter. The app installed on my Google Pixel 3a just fine. I have an older Android Nexus 7 and I was informed the app wouldn't run on it. On my phone, the "blue bar" partially covers the scale at the bottom of the screen. I really want this to run on a bigger device than my phone, hence the Nexus. There are a number of $65 tablets on Amazon, I don't mind buying one to dedicate to the Pokit; I don't want find out the hard way that it won't run on them...

Manufacturer won't supply spare test leads for when they inevitably break internally. Range tester has DRM that must check for a licence every few days despite being a one off payment for a perpetual license. Too bad if you don't have reception or an internet connection when you go to use it...

I wanted to purchase the Pokit multimeter, but after reading these reviews, I won't go near it. A company selling a product should include fully functional software in the price. Charging people for extra features in the software is shifty business. It's like buying a multifunction printer but only being able to do basic black and white printing until you pay more to unlock colour and scanning.
