About this game

Inkblade is a hand-drawn action roguelike played entirely with one thumb. You are a brushstroke given a blade: drag anywhere to move, stand still to strike. Every dodge, dash and slash is drawn in living ink across paper worlds inspired by sumi-e ink painting.

⚔ EASY TO PLAY, HARD TO MASTER
Move or attack — never both. Plant your feet and your blade fires at the nearest foe; drag and you become the dodge. One thumb controls everything: a floating joystick spawns wherever you touch, a DASH button (or quick tap) grants brief invulnerability. WASD + Space works on desktop too.

✒ A 12-TOME HAND-DRAWN SAGA
Fight through 96 pages across twelve cursed volumes — Sepia Catacombs, Crimson Caverns, the Midnight Codex, the Vermillion Deep and more. Each page is a hand-inked arena with random rooms, elites, events and traps. Re-run any page on Hard, Brutal, Nightmare or Inferno tiers for bigger rewards.

☠ 12 THREE-PHASE SOVEREIGNS
Every fifth page is ruled by a hand-inked boss with three escalating phases: the Blot King, the Nine-Tail Vermillion, the Calligrapher, the Ink Mother and the First Stroke among them. On the highest tiers they gain randomized affixes — no fight is ever memorized.

✧ 40+ BOONS & INK FUSIONS
Every cleared room offers a boon. Kindred boons fuse into powerful Ink Fusions — storm lances, comet falls, winter maws. Stack builds, break them, rebuild. Daily seeds and page omens (fog, bounty marks, glass hearts, vampire ink…) keep every run unpredictable.

⚒ SIX WEAPONS, SIX PHILOSOHIES
The trusty Ink Brush, Twin Fangs, Spirit Bow, Orbit Fans, the Thunder Scroll and the sweeping Vermillion Glaive — each with unique fire patterns, perks and weapon-specific projectiles. Unlock with gems, temper to level 5 with shards, and master their hidden perks.

☀ PLAY EVERY DAY
DAILY INK: one seeded gauntlet shared with the whole world — climb your local board and win +25 gems for the first clear of the day.
WEEKLY TRIAL: a fresh boss, tier and pacts every week. Endless Abyss: one life, unlimited depth, wardens every fourth floor. Boss Rush: all twelve sovereigns back to back.

➻ THE INK ROAD — A FREE SEASON PASS
A 28-day season with 100 tiers of rewards. Earn Road XP from everything you already do: slaying, clearing pages, dailies, contracts. No paywall. The road is earned, never bought.

⛩ PROGRESSION THAT NEVER DIES
Death takes half your gems — the rest stays. Spend them at the Ink Market on permanent shrine upgrades, four heroes with masteries and ascensions, 18 relics across six schools, sigils and rebirth. Everything you earn survives every run.
