Scribemark is a clean, focused Markdown editor that shows your formatted document as you write it. Type in plain Markdown on one side and watch it render live — headings, bold and italic, lists, links, quotes, code blocks, tables — so what you'll get is always right in front of you, no guessing and no clicking back and forth.
It's built to stay out of your way and just work, automating the parts of writing that are just repetitive. Start a new document from a blank page or a ready-made shape — meeting notes, a to-do list, a README — and its title fills itself in from your first heading. Press Enter in a list and the next bullet, number, or checkbox appears on its own; press it again on an empty item and the list ends cleanly. Changes save themselves moments after you stop typing, with a quiet status label so you always know where things stand. A labeled toolbar inserts common syntax when you don't feel like remembering it, the live preview updates instantly, and you can flip between edit and preview or keep them side by side. Once a document has headings, an outline lets you jump straight to any section instead of scrolling to find it.
Your documents live on the device in a simple library — open the app to your most recent one front and center, with arrows to page through the rest. A writing-stats screen tracks documents created, words on the page, exports, and a daily streak, with milestones to mark progress along the way. When a document's ready, export it as a clean Markdown file or as formatted HTML you can use anywhere, and a built-in syntax guide keeps the Markdown basics a tap away for when you forget how a table or a link is written.
Everything runs on your device: no account, no connection, no ads. Just Markdown in, formatted document out.
