This app needs an overhaul. Setting the timer and light settings isn't very user friendly and you can only setup via Bluetooth if you're near the device. I can't do it from another room or remotely outside of my house. There are so many features this app needs but lacks right now.

I recently purchased one of these lights and regretted it right away. I have never seen such blatant false advertising ever. the box say fully programmable yet the only way you can program it is in manual mode which only changes if you change it per the moment. the auto mode is factory setting only. I paid 150$ and don't belive it's worth 50$. as if that wasn't bad enough the Bluetooth option quit working after the second day of use. 3 year warranty...well see..i recomend to NOT buy one.

To be honest I absolutely love fluval filters!!! I won't have anything else!!! But I get so frustrated trying to turn this light on. It worked fine and first, then it would take a few tries and now it won't come on at all. I've only had it for a couple of months. Not sure if it's the light itself or the app. Just disappointed that it isn't the same quality as their filters.
