Anyone can finish. Not everyone can finish fast.
Thunk is a shape-fitting puzzle with one job: cover the board completely. No gaps, no overlaps, every cell filled exactly once. Finishing is the easy part — your stars come from how fast you did it.
FIT THE SHAPES
Every level hands you a board and a small set of pieces. Some drop anywhere a hole exists. Others have to be aimed. As you go deeper the grid grows and the shapes get more awkward — the difference between placing a block and solving a puzzle.
TWENTY RULES, ONE AT A TIME
A plain board is only the beginning. A shape you are not allowed to use. A piece locked until you have placed three others. A cell that has to be covered twice over. Regions no piece may cross, each showing exactly how many pieces it takes. Two shapes that refuse to appear in the same level. A finished board that has to read the same reflected left to right.
Each rule arrives on its own, with a short animated diagram that shows you what it does before it can cost you anything — then starts combining with the rules you already know.
A NEW PUZZLE EVERY DAY
The Daily gives everyone the same board at the same moment, so a time actually means something. Solve it, then share your result: a grid of your board's shape, your stars and your time. It shows what you solved, never how — so it spoils nothing for the person you send it to.
Build a streak. Come back tomorrow for a different one.
PLAY WITH FRIENDS, AND SEND THEM A BOARD
Send one link. They tap it, and from then on you see each other's level, streak and Daily time as they happen. No account, no email, no password, no sign-up screen — the invite is the whole setup, and you can delete everything you have shared at any time from Settings.
Then race them. Finish any level and send that exact board to a friend with your time attached, or build one to order — pick the size, pick the rules — and play it yourself first to set the mark. Their time comes back to you, sits next to yours, and one tap starts a rematch. Best of three, if you want to settle it properly.
A board you are sent costs you nothing and can always be helped. Nothing arrives unasked, and nothing anyone sends can change your own game.
EIGHTY-FIVE RANKS TO CLIMB
Seventeen badges, each with Bronze through Diamond. They are not attendance prizes: they count boards three-starred, rules mastered, times you went back and beat your own record. Diamond pays a board style money cannot buy.
MAKE THE BOARD YOURS
Coins come from playing. They buy block sets, backgrounds and frames — the pieces you tile with and the room you tile them in. Some are seasonal and only on sale while that season runs, and anything you buy stays yours for good.
SOME DAYS THE DAILY IS A PICTURE
About ten days a year — Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's, New Year — the Daily is a drawing that assembles as you solve it. Every correct answer produces the same picture, however you got there.
NO TIMERS. NO LIVES. NO ENERGY.
Nothing here meters your retries. Undo as much as you like, reset as often as you like, replay any level you have finished to beat your own best time. The clock scores you; it never stops you.
PLAYS ON A PLANE
Every level is generated on your phone rather than downloaded, so the puzzles work with no signal at all. Only the friends board needs a connection.
ENDLESS
There is no last level. Level 4,000 exists for the same reason level 1 does.
For anyone who likes polyomino and pentomino puzzles, tangram and jigsaw fitting, block and grid logic games, or just a clean offline brain teaser with a daily challenge to solve.
Fill the board, beat the clock. 20 rules, a daily puzzle, and friends to beat.
