ChatFort is a private, open-source messenger for secure communication.

Features:
• End-to-end encrypted 1:1 and group messaging
• Voice and video calls
• No phone number, email, or central account required
• Nearby mode for local communication using Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi Direct when internet access is limited

Permissions are requested only when needed:
• Camera for QR scanning, photos, and video calls
• Microphone for voice messages and voice/video calls
• Notifications for message and call alerts
• Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Android location permission for the optional Nearby feature
• Full-screen intent for incoming call alerts
• Optional battery optimization exemption for reliable background message delivery

ChatFort does not use ads or analytics. Messages and files stay under user control, and app policies are available both in-app and on the public project pages.

that's really great , but there are some issues, if u delete a message or photo, those deleted messages or photos can be seen, while it shouldn't Reveal the deleted messages. there should be a feature of unsent like Instagram, and there should be a feature of delete after view as well.

App is good. Have to report a bug. One person can join a group as many times as he wants using link with same ID from single app on his mobile also a contact can add you as many times as he wants and as you can add yourself as many times as you want. You get a long list of your own profile as contact is if you keep on pasting your own invite link in search and accept. Please fix that. And also add emoji pack. People always use them while chatting.

Best, super fast & highly secure messaging app I’ve ever used. The privacy features are outstanding, especially the disappearing messages and emergency security options. The app runs smoothly without any lag and the interface is clean & user-friendly. Highly recommended for anyone who values security and performance.
