Inqalaab is a private, open-source messenger for secure communication.

Features:
• End-to-end encrypted 1:1 and group messaging

• No phone number, email, or central account required

Permissions are requested only when needed:
• Camera for QR scanning, photos, and video calls
• Microphone for voice messages and voice/video calls
• Notifications for message and call alerts
• Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Android location permission for the optional Nearby feature
• Full-screen intent for incoming call alerts
• Optional battery optimization exemption for reliable background message delivery

Inqalaab does not use ads or analytics. Messages and files stay under user control, and app policies are available both in-app and on the public project pages.

Ratings and reviews

Not user friendly, not at all. Sorry to say that? it is almost impossible or very hard for an ordinary person to use it. Despite having a good knowhow of these things it took me almost 1 hr to connect to my first contact that was sitting next to me! what about the one not present. ??

The app is great in concept wise but focis on privacy has been off limit. It restricts every type of traceability and will be more useful for terrorist organizations rather than common people. Terrorists will coordinate without the fear of being caught. I will suggest that the app should focus on balance of privacy and traceability.

Great privacy-focused messaging app with a clean and simple interface. Secure chats, calls, and no phone number required. Reliable and highly recommended!
