About this app

irotabi is a simple travel log: colour in the places you have visited, right on the map.

■ Just tap to fill it in
Tap a country or a prefecture and it fills in. No GPS, no booking-site sync, no diary to write.
Japan's prefectures use four levels - not visited, passed through, stayed overnight, lived there - so a day trip and a year of living somewhere don't end up the same colour.
Your count and your completion rate are always one glance away.

Add any of them from the Collection tab and grow as many maps as you like, side by side.

■ Your data stays on your device
There is no account and no sign-up. Everything you record is stored on your device and is never sent to our servers.
It works completely offline, so it keeps working where there is no signal.

■ Share with a QR code or a link
Turn your map into a QR code, a URL or an image and hand it to a friend. They can overlay it on their own map.
Both of you, only you, only them, neither - the four colours make it easy to talk about where to go next.
Only the filled-in state travels. No notes, no dates, no device identifiers, and nothing passes through a server.

■ Ready to post
Save your map as an image with your completion rate on it, ready for social media.

■ Dark mode
Follows your system setting, or pick light or dark inside the app.
