About this app
Morse is easy to send and hard to hear. AlphaX does both halves: it turns your text into a signal you can play βΆοΈ, and it trains your ear until you can take that signal back down.
COMPOSE
Type β¨οΈ a message and watch π it become dots and dashes as you go. Play βΆοΈ it back at the speed β‘ you choose, and the app keeps the timing honest β the gaps between letters and words are what make Morse readable, and they are spaced properly rather than approximated.
SIGNAL CARDS
Any message can be exported as a card: the text, the pattern π’ underneath it, and nothing else. Useful for a note π, a print, or sending someone the thing you actually meant rather than a screenshot of a keyboard β¨οΈ.
PRACTICE AT A SET SPEED ποΈ
Copying is a separate skill from sending, so practice ποΈ treats it that way. Choose your words per minute, listen, and write down what you heard. Ten items to a round, scored honestly β you get a grade, the speed β‘ you were working at, and how many you actually got right.
THE PART THAT MAKES YOU BETTER
The result screen breaks the round down by character, so you can see π that it was A, K, M, S and U that cost you, not "Morse" in general. Those are the letters to drill next, and the app π± tells you plainly when a speed β‘ is above your level π§ instead of letting you grind at it.
KEEP A LOG π
Save πΎ a round to the log π and your speeds and grades build π¨ into a record, so progress π over weeks is visible rather than remembered.
Everything runs on the device π±: no account, no sign-in, no connection needed to send or to listen.
