The ePACS Tablet Application is the official mobile solution for the ePACS ERP platform, developed as part of the Government of India’s initiative to digitize Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS). This effort is a key component of the broader push to modernize and computerize PACS, making essential financial services more accessible and transparent for rural communities.
Key Features
Empowering PACS Staff: The app enables PACS staff to deliver essential financial services directly at the customer’s doorstep, enhancing convenience and operational efficiency.
View-Only System: The application is designed as a view system, meaning users can access and review information but cannot perform direct transactions. This ensures data security while providing transparency.
Rural Focus: Tailored for rural India, the app bridges the digital divide in cooperative banking and agriculture, supporting the government’s vision of inclusive digital growth.
Functional Modules
Membership View: Staff can access details such as Admission Number, KYC status, share capital ledger, and land ownership information (for A-Class members).
Savings Accounts: The app displays balances for Savings, Current, and Thrift Deposit accounts, along with nominee details and complete ledger histories.
Fixed/Recurring Deposits: Users can track deposit amounts, interest schedules, maturity dates, and interest earned for both Fixed Deposits (FD) and Recurring Deposits (RD).
Loans: The application provides information on loan balances, EMI schedules, payment histories, and overdue penalty calculations, supporting various loan types like Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Medium Term (MT), and Long Term (LT) loans.
