About this app

The Hypori app provides secure access to your organization’s apps and data from your personal device. With Hypori, you have the freedom to work securely without risk of leaking corporate data. Hypori provides 100% separation of personal and corporate data and activities.

Hypori achieves this by providing a secure and compliant virtual mobile device that runs in the cloud (you must have a Hypori account, see https://hypori.com for details). It functions just like a physical smartphone, except the operating system, data, and apps reside and run in the cloud instead of on your physical device. The Hypori app sends sensor information, such as touch commands and screen orientation, to the Hypori virtual device over a secure network connection. The display of the Hypori virtual device is streamed as pixels and drawn on your device screen, without storing any corporate data your personal device.

Ratings and reviews

This app is super convenient for accessing my work email on my personal phone. It's better in a lot of ways than the MDM I have for another account because there's no risk of data leakage or subsequent confiscation. It does seem to have gotten more reliable over time, but there are occasional issues. It's great that the app passes through audio, including Bluetooth, but if I get a call on my personal number while in the app, the audio will only come out of the speaker, but not at full volume.

I'm a big fan of this App for MS Teams and checking email, it certainly fills the gap when away from a computer. Small issues: volume controls sometime mismatch between call and media, when I click disconnect it should ask for authentication code again, should use a background notification to keep alive in background, and disconnect policy could use a few more options (30mins, 1 hour,..). Thanks!

ERROR ADDING ACCOUNT. WILL NOT ADD. Every time I go to add, I scan the QR code, it says registering, I put in my 2FA, and then it just goes to "No accounts are configured. Tapthe + button to add an account, or contact your Hypori administrator." Pressing the + button doesn't do anything 99% of the time, and 1% of the time it just resets back to the start.
