Stop searching for past exams. Start studying.
Every year, students face the same problem. Exam papers get lost. Material groups are closed to outsiders. New batches have to start their search from zero, often ending up with nothing but uncertainty about how the exam will look or what type of questions will appear.
Basmaga was built to fix this.
We are a platform that collects university-level questions, exams, and quizzes and makes them permanently accessible to everyone. No more begging seniors for files. No more scattered links. Just a single, organized space where knowledge accumulates over time instead of disappearing.
Currently in Trial Phase
Basmaga is launching as a pilot for the Faculty of Computers and Information at Suez Canal University. Following this trial, we will expand to include more faculties and universities across Egypt. Our long-term vision is to become the definitive question repository for Egyptian higher education.
How to Access Questions
Navigation is simple and consistent. Select your University, then your Faculty, then your Subject. All questions added to that subject are immediately available.
How to Contribute
Basmaga is powered by its users. If you have a question from a past exam, a quiz, or a practice set, you can add it directly.
Visit your college and subject page. Click the Add Question button. Choose the question type, either multiple choice or true/false. Write the question text and input the answer options. Your contribution becomes visible to every student studying that subject, this year and for years to come.
Three Study Modes for Different Goals
We understand that studying is not one-dimensional. Different phases require different levels of challenge and support. Basmaga offers three distinct modes to match your current stage.
Revision Mode
Use this mode when you are learning the material for the first time or reviewing before a test. The correct answer is displayed clearly. Your goal here is to absorb, not to be tested. Move through questions quickly and familiarize yourself with the content and format.
Training Mode
This mode is for active practice. The answers are hidden by default. When you select an answer, you receive immediate feedback on whether it was correct or wrong. This reinforces your memory and helps you identify weak areas without the pressure of a grade or timer.
Exam Mode
This mode simulates real examination conditions. The answers are completely hidden. A countdown timer runs in the background. You cannot check answers until the end. Once you finish or the time expires, your results are displayed, including your score and a summary of your performance. This builds stamina and timing discipline.
Additional Study Tools
Brainrot Mode
This is an alternative way to review content. Instead of a standard list or grid, questions are presented one at a time in a full-screen vertical feed. Swipe down to move to the next question. Swipe up to return to a previous one. This format is designed for rapid, low-friction review sessions where you want to cover many questions in a short period.
Built-in File Viewer
Study materials are not always plain text. Basmaga includes a native viewer for PDF documents, PowerPoint presentations, and common image formats. If a question references a diagram or a slide, you can open it directly inside the application without leaving your study session.
Our Mission
Basmaga is built on a simple belief: educational resources should not expire. A question written five years ago is still relevant today. A quiz created for last year's batch should not be locked away in a private chat. We are building a permanent, growing, and accessible library of academic content for Egyptian university students.
Download Basmaga today. Access the questions your predecessors left behind. Leave questions for those who will follow.
