Subtitles are downloaded from the huge database of subtitles at opensubtitles.org. As subtitles are contributed to opensubtitles by volunteers, the time it takes for subtitles to become available after a movie release can vary.

It's a great idea, but the app is broken in a number of ways. Subtitles frequently have the wrong duration, so they don't sync up properly. And even if you can get it synced up, the playback will randomly restart at the beginning. I would love a working subtitle app. But this isn't it.

Pretty useful, but would be great if the app allowed me to use my own local subtitle files rather than having to pick from a list. I used this app to watch one of my Japanese laserdiscs and after getting the initial sync it worked perfectly. I wanted to try it with another Japanese disc but sadly no subtitles were available from wherever this app gets it's subtitles from.

Thank you for this app. Feedback: Sometimes the speed is wrong, making it constantly slightly out of sync. Would be great if there was playback speed. Also with newer androids it's super easy to accidentally reset the position. Some more intuitive way to synchronize would be great. it supports .srt files - but you can only "import" them when you open the .srt file from within your file browser, it's very confusion that the app doesnt mention this anywhere. Advertising this feature makes sens
