Description
Delver is a first person action roguelike dungeon crawl with crunchy pixels.
Take the role of an adventurer that tries their fate in the dark dungeons (and probably dies horribly). Fight monsters, grab loot, horde potions, and level up!
Quest for the Yithidian orb at the darkest depths of the dungeon and attempt to bring it back to the surface. Getting to it may be the easy part.
Levels are randomly generated in each playthrough - you'll never know quite what's around the corner.
Features:
* Permadeath - once you're dead, you're dead
* Randomized levels - never the same game twice
* Loot hoarding
* Chunky pixels!

Cool. This game is always different between levels and the monsters within each level, although minor setback is if you have a blutooth keyboard it wont move the character (W,A,S, and D keys) every other button works. Hope youll fix and continue updates.

After playing, Delver immidiatly became my favourite game on my tablet. The touch controls really brought down the game though, so I plugged in my blue tooth keyboard (although the review below said it doesnt work, either the Dev fixed it, or just the type of keyboard) and I used the keyboard to move, pick up stuff, and attack, and used my other thumb on screen to look and manage my inventory, and the game really shined. I love the atmosphere, and pretty much everything about the game. But when you get to the cave levels, they are a little too open and with the beholders it gets really cheap and overly difficult. After watching PC gameplay this issue seems fixed, and Im hoping eventually it will be on here too.

Looks good, pretty challenging. The graphics are nice and nostalgic, and I dig the music. I really dislike the controls. Ranged combat is tough because it can be hard to aim at an opponent far away. Melee can be tough because the attack button is in a weird spot. I kind of wish for turn-based combat. Enemy casters and the beholder guys ruin every game for me. Hope for a resistance potion, or you're starting over. Hopefully I'll find the right stat balance to get me through those fights.

I really love this game but... It needs some love. The developer hasn't updated it for over a year which would have been fine if it was a free beta however there is a price attached to it. I have searched for information and found nothing. The Steam version appears to be the favored son, recieving regular content and bug fixes. I would easily give the game 5 stars if I could get a straight answer on when and if an update is coming to the phone version or if it has been abandoned altogether.

A very fun rougelike RPG I'm impressed to see how far this game has come now. The graphics look so much better, there is RPG choices to make when leveling, the UI got better (thanks for letting us know what potions do what now), and so much more. It's a really good game now and I can't wait to see what comes in future updates.

Movement issues Would be a five star for sure but my character gets locked in starring positions which results in killing me all the time, also if arial combat was a little simplar, the flying squids are almost impossible to kill

The Big 4 Minecraft, Minicraft, Legends of Yore and DELVER! All must haves. UPDATE: Holy cow, this game keeps getting better! Insane replay value, a simple modern nethack c: really love the graphics!
Great It's a great game, however, I really hope the newer features of the PC version eventually make it over to Android, like the breakable crates and the chunkier cave structures. Additionally, an option to use the Android "immersive mode" would be nice. I'd gladly donate if such improvements are ever implemented, and hopefully I wouldn't be the only one. I bought this game twice, once on Steam and once here, and since I no longer have a PC I'm hoping the Android version hasn't been abandoned.
Tilt controls maybe? I have a crappy single touch device.. might be playable with responsive tilt controlled look/turnand assignable function keys. More options would be nice like auto face attacker- anything to ease the chaos seeing as how this is 'fp' but not a 'fps'.anyway to hasten the loading at start?
You did it. :) Single best rogue like on the market. Replayability: endless randomization of dungeons: awesome. Graphics pixel licious perfection. Liquid smooth implementation. Music . Beautiful. .. white Wolf?? Right? :) followed this from the beginning. When you updated to the pc version it became Pinnacle of any Android rogue ever made. It's amazing. Thank you. You have a Hardcore fan here. Priority interrupt. Any chance down the road you will update boarding party in the future???
Love the game, but having issue on my new s5 I really like this game, and used to play it on my Droid1, 2 & 4. I recently switched to a Galaxy S5, and the game seems to have an issue where I am always moving backwards, making it somewhat unplayable. Hopefully this gets sorted out soon. Thanks for the continuing updates!
Amazing I love the game, and play it any chance I get. I've played more than a few hours worth over the last couple of weeks, and I love every bit of it, except for one error in the dungeon gen. I've noticed that a teleport trap sometimes gets placed in a one way hallway, and it teleports you back to a place you've already been, forcing you to restart and delete the world. Once this little thing is fixed, I can safely say this is the best game on android.
Hopefully it gets updated eventually Like the new features in the update but unfortunately the game can get so choppy at times it's unplayable. I understand it's still in development so I'll wait and hope it gets better.
Great potential! I understand this game is still under development .That said, for what this game already is, I'm impressed. The developers are taking this game in the right direction. KEEP IT UP AND KEEP UPDATING :D To buyers: Obviously this game isn't a final product and needs refining, so be wary when purchasing this app. Limited content! To dev: Would like to see a more variety of enemies, weapons, and armors. Also expand on the magic dynamics as the "magic wands" are essentially a ranged weapon and nothing more.
I freaking love this game An amazing roguelike that I've enjoyed since its initial release on android. I've beaten it many times and still never get bored, and the continued updates make it even better. I would like a little more variety on the bottom levels though, especially since the 7th floor is exactly the same every time.
Fun to pass the time For the money this game is great. I own it for both my mobile and pc. It's not cutting edge or ground breaking but if you are a first person RPG fan it will keep you entertained. The music is good but loops too much(not a lot of variety). The graphics suite the game well. Caststers make the game diffcult and probably have a few balancing issues to be worked out.
Was good...still is. Many games which are greatly enjoyed by people and very fun have an update which ruins the game. This causes a lot of people to leave bad reviews and to generally hate on the game. I think that games deserve good feedback for putting out an update that DIDN'T break the game. Thank you for your new work and continued support. And I love the new engine.
Very close to completion This game is very fun but could use a little bit more functionality. The inventory boxes could be bigger, and sometimes and object gets stuck in a doorway and there is no way to retrieve it. Also no instructions/tutorial or options for the sensitivity or the difficulty. 4 stars because everything else works fine (no crashes/glitches) and the game itself is pretty fun.
Short but promising and fun. Finished it in under 7-8 tries with little to no replay value. The gameplay is great but the depth is lacking. The combat reminds me of Ultima Underworld's and could be better. The music is great and so are the sound effects. The pixel graphics looks great. I suggest adding out-of-combat skills, so far the only way to get food is by looting. Overall a great game, recommended for those who love a short dungeon crawl, roguelikes or for just casual fans.
Good game, worth the money Its nice to see developers that are working on good games that aren't pay-to-win garbage on mobile platforms. This game is a simple little first person RPG dungeon crawler/survival game. The touchscreen controls work surprisingly well. Other FPS games could learn from Delver. Support good games on android and purchase this! Stop supporting freemium, pay to win crap.
I have played so many titles on the market searching for gems. As a game dev myself the need to see what is being created within this new platform is a must. Up until purchasing this title all hope was lost for finding a heartfelt well made game with soul. A fantastic creation and a must own! Well done to the dev team and will be watching for future work.
Great fun, smooth! I really enjoy this game; it always keeps you saved for whenever you need to drop out, the controls work well, the game runs smoothly, and the mechanics and gameplay make it a great experience. It's been getting much better over its last updates (especially the latest one with updated graphics), and it's proven it's worth every penny to me!
Super fun Love playing this game on my train ride. Very simple to pick up and play. Great job on this game. Keep up the good work. Just added a star because the developer did ad a excellent update. Best game the play store has to offer. Dont miss out on this unique gem. Update: its on sale on Steam for PC. Also the graphics have gotten an overhaul. I was surprised not to see it upgraded for Droid. 😕

From the creators of the Android version of Angband come these classic roguelike games: Rogue, Moria and Larn. Rogue, developed in 1980, is an ASCII-based dungeon exploration role-playing game (RPG). Larn is one of the first roguelike games to feature a persistent home level. Moria applies the same game-play themes to a game based on the books of J.R.R.Tolkien.

We are proud to present 9th Dawn, a game that's a blend of modern and traditional design and gameplay and sports a large, open world experience uncommon in today's mobile RPGs!
Explore the large island continent of Montelorne, a land far detached from the mainland, but filled with mystery, danger, and last but not least, adventure. You begin your journey in the small village of Agaria, but once you gain your bearings, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of its own.

Play as one of three of the traditional classes: The sturdy knight, skilled in the art of combat and possessing the ability to wield heavy armour and weapons; the nimble archer, capable of swiftly dispatching a foe from afar or up close with his daggers; the wise mage, master of the elements and capable of utilizing powerful magic spells and summoning abilities to obliterate the enemy.
Whether it's searching for hidden artifacts and treasure, helping the troubled Montelornians with the rising undead armies, or simply exploring the massive world and its many towns, dungeons, and forests, there is no shortage of fun for a bold adventurer to partake of!

NOTE: The game does not currently work with Android Lollipop. We are working on a complete remake of the game in a new engine (which doesn't seem to have this compatibility problem) and are expecting an initial release in February. We are also working on a sequel. Look for updates on the development progress on our Facebook or website.

Fans of the original will be shedding tears of joy as they roll for their character's stats, board ships, summon monsters and cast powerful area of effect spells. Players not previously familiar with the realm of Gurk will simply stare in slack-jawed wonder at the beautifully pixelated graphics, all the while being serenaded by the lush and authentic MIDI soundtrack. Only the viscerally-compressed sound FX and challenging new combat tactics will snap them back to their senses. Tilt Arena
Tilt Arena is a retro arena shooter (think Geometry Wars!) with sleek vector graphics and a zero button control scheme designed to get your fingers out of the way: just tilt!
Game mode: Survival
All about having a ton of weapons, using them to blow stuff up spectacularly, and changing them often. Grabbing weapon pickups increases the score multiplier so don't get too attached to one.
Note: The permission to access identity and phone calls is for Scoreloop's online leaderboard. That system is changing soon so this (overly scary) permission is thankfully temporary.
Boarding Party
Make it down to the escape pod by fighting through the hordes of aliens that have boarded your ship. Everyone else is dead, it's up to you.
Don't stop moving and more importantly, don't stop shooting. Boarding Party was made for the 2013 7 Day FPS event, in which people have 7 days to make a first person shooter.
