Intrecept is a prescription tool. Intrecept is for authorized healthcare professionals with the right to prescribe and enables the dispatch of prescriptions from any pharmacy in Sweden. Intrecept gives you the opportunity to prescribe medication to both patients with a personal identification number and those who can only provide their date of birth and name.

To get started, you need to create an account with BankID and a valid prescriber and workplace code. The prescriber code is verified against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register before your account is approved, a process that normally takes 3-4 working days. After that, you can start prescribing medication with Sweden's most flexible prescribing tool.
