Intrecept is a free prescribing tool. Intrecept is for authorized health care personnel with prescription rights and enables the dispatch of prescriptions from any pharmacy within Sweden. Intrecept gives you the option to prescribe medication to both patients with a social security number and those who can only state their date of birth and name.

To get started, you need to create an account with BankID and a valid prescriber and workplace code. The prescriber code is verified against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register before your account is approved, a process that normally takes 3-4 working days. You can then start prescribing medicines with Sweden's easiest prescribing tool.
