On Rails is a beautifully designed, intuitive app that provides live departure and arrival times for the next two hours at all National Rail stations — and lets you plan journeys across all UK mainland stations.

Quickly find nearby stations and view their real-time departure boards.
Mark favourites, track recently departed services, and access live updates on trains.
Favourites appear as cards on the home screen — easily rearranged by dragging or removed with a swipe.

Colour-coded indicators clearly show whether trains are on time, delayed, or cancelled.
Effortlessly switch between departures, arrivals, and origin/destination views.

Auto-switching between origin and destination based on your location is available with a subscription — free trial included.

Get helpful details such as fastest train options, train operator, number of coaches, toilet availability, journey time, and arrival estimates (where data is available).

Journey Planner
Plan trips across all UK mainland stations with advanced options and real-time accuracy.

• Choose departure or arrival time, including "first" and "last" service for today or tomorrow
• Option to include only direct trains
• Configure via and avoid stations for route flexibility
