About this game

THE SEQUENCE IS SACRED.

In a world of infinite data entropy, you are the final filter. A chaotic stream of neon characters drifts from the darkness, heading toward the system core. Your goal is not to stop it, but to curate it.

FRONTSPACE is a high-stakes, minimalist arcade puzzle game where order is the only way to survive.

[ THE OBJECTIVE ]
Characters move from Right to Left. You have one tool: The FRONTSPACE button (-->). It deletes the leading character and pulls the stream back.

Your mission is simple but unforgiving: Every character that leaves the screen must be GREATER in value than the one before it.

[ THE HIERARCHY ]
The system follows a strict ASCII logic. To survive, you must memorize the "Power Level" of the data:

z > a > Z > A > 9 > 0

Lowercase letters are the strongest.

Numbers are the weakest.

Symbols are wildcards (Resets).

If a "Small" character (like '5') tries to exit after a "Big" character (like 'f'), the sequence breaks. SYSTEM FAILURE.

[ THE STRATEGY ]
You see a '3' trapped behind a 'W'. If you do nothing, the '3' will cross the line after the 'W' and kill you (because 3 < W). You must frantically use Frontspace to delete the 'W'—sacrificing your points and safety—just to remove the '3' before it reaches the edge.

[ FEATURES ]

:: VINTAGE AESTHETIC ::
Plays inside an 84% scaled terminal window with a retro CRT feel.

:: PROCEDURAL AUDIO ::
No recorded files. Every sound—from the mechanical keyboard click to the deep server room hum—is generated by math in real-time.

:: NATIVE & LIGHTWEIGHT ::
Built purely in Kotlin/Android Canvas. Zero bloat, zero loading screens, and a tiny download size.

:: ADAPTIVE DIFFICULTY ::
The stream accelerates from a calm 17 seconds to a panic-inducing 1 second based on your score.

Filter the noise.
Delete the weak.
Sacrifice the strong.

[ INITIATE ]
Filter the noise. Don't let the small fall. A minimalist terminal puzzle.
