About this app

Most budgeting apps stop at the receipt total: 84.30 at the supermarket, filed under "Groceries". Precise Spend goes one level deeper. Every line on the receipt gets its own category, so "Groceries" becomes what it actually was — meat, sweets, cleaning products, each with its own number.

Photograph the receipt, and that is the whole ritual. The app reads the lines, quantities and prices, and files each one. Corrections stick: fix a product once and the same purchase lands in the right place next month, with no model call at all.

WHAT IT READS
- Paper receipts, in any language
- Fuel pump displays — litres and price per litre, while the fiscal receipt does not exist yet
- App screens: banking, delivery, taxi
- E-receipts as PDF, spreadsheet, Word or web page — an emailed receipt should not need a screenshot of itself
- Spoken expenses, for when there is no paper at all
- Long receipts in several frames, stitched into one purchase

THE END OF THE MONTH
Import your bank statement and the app matches rows against receipts automatically — same card, same day, same amount, then merchant names. Whatever it cannot place, you close by hand: link a receipt, create one from the row, or mark the row as not spending. Nothing is left stuck, because a queue that cannot be emptied is the one failure a budget does not survive.

Refunds are part of that loop. Scan a refund confirmation and attach it to the purchase it corrects — the money comes off where it was spent, in full or in part.

WHAT YOU SEE
- Where the money went, drilled down from a category to the actual products
- Spending over time: day, week, month, quarter, year
- Excess: unplanned small spending — cafés, delivery, snacks — and habit buys, the small repeats that quietly add up
- Records: the dearest day, the dearest shop, the dearest single thing

FOR A FAMILY
One shared space, several people, several cards. The household's spending in one picture, with every purchase still attributed to whoever paid for it.

Five languages — English, Ukrainian, Spanish, French, Dutch. Several currencies at once, each converted at the rate of the day the money was spent, so last month's total never quietly changes.
Family budgeting down to the line item. Scan a receipt, see where money went.
