About this app

INVO Second Screen turns an Android tablet or panel into the customer-facing display for your INVO POS counter or drive-thru lane. Your cashier rings the order in, and the customer watches it appear line by line and follows the payment through to the confirmation.

This is a companion display for INVO POS. It needs an INVO POS terminal on the same local network to drive it, and does not work on its own.

WHAT THE CUSTOMER SEES

• Idle menu — your categories and products, cycling on their own between customers, priced in your store's currency
• Live order — every line as it is rung in, with its options and modifiers, quantity and line total, plus subtotal, discount, tax and total due
• Payment — a QR code to scan, a tap-your-card prompt that follows the reader through to approved or declined, or a cash breakdown of total, paid and remaining
• Confirmation — payment confirmed, change due, order number and total paid
• Drive-thru — a "proceed to the next window" screen with the amount owed, for pay-at-the-window lanes
• Item detail — the cashier can push a product's photo, description, price and option groups onto the screen while the customer decides

RUNS ON YOUR OWN NETWORK

No account, no sign-in, no cloud service. The display listens on your local network and your POS connects straight to it. The menu, prices, orders and payment prompts all arrive from the POS, and the screen keeps them only while it is paired.

PAIRED IN SECONDS

Open the app and it shows the address to connect to. Point your POS at it and the display goes live. On a shared or busy network, switch on a six-digit pairing code and only a POS that presents that code can connect. One POS is paired at a time, so a second device cannot take over the screen mid-order.
