iOKEYS is a technology giveaway created by iOtee to offer a simple introduction to the world of monitoring. Built around a smart ear tag presented in the form of a keyring, it delivers a playful object-finding experience powered by Bluetooth. This demonstration makes the principle of location tracking concrete and easy to grasp, before revealing its application on the farm: indoor location tracking of cattle and the monitoring of their health, reproduction and behaviour.

An app to discover iOtee's technologies and innovations

The iOKEYS app was designed as a simple, playful and hands-on way to discover the technologies developed by iOtee around its smart ear tag and its monitoring solutions.

Its principle is deliberately easy to understand. A smart ear tag, used here as a demonstration object and presented in the form of a keyring, illustrates a Bluetooth object-finding function. Users can experience searching for a lost set of keys while gradually discovering how a connected object can be located.

This experience acts as a bridge between an everyday use case, immediately understandable, and a far more ambitious professional application: locating cattle inside farm buildings.

iOKEYS also introduces iOtee's various monitoring services and includes a fun mini-game aimed in particular at children. The goal is to make the presentation accessible to everyone, while giving a first concrete insight into the technologies iOtee uses.

iOtee makes indoor cattle location tracking accessible with "La Boucle"

With its smart ear tag, iOtee takes a new step forward in cattle herd monitoring. It offers real-time indoor location tracking for cattle that is easy to install, economically accessible and fully integrated into its animal monitoring platform.

The innovation is based on a smart ear tag paired with a network of self-contained, battery-powered anchors deployed throughout the building with no wiring and no construction work. Farmers install the system themselves in just a few hours. Animals are located with metre-level accuracy and their position is displayed in real time in the monitoring app, in particular when a health, reproduction or behaviour alert is triggered.

Beyond location tracking, iOtee brings together a complete set of monitoring features (heat detection, activity monitoring, early detection of health issues and behaviour tracking), providing a full view of the herd from a single interface.

In doing so, iOtee turns animal location tracking from a complex technology into a simple, accessible service. By adapting the principles of industrial mesh location networks to the constraints of livestock buildings, iOtee delivers a self-contained, scalable solution that is easy for farmers to deploy. Equipment is updated remotely, with no on-site intervention, and the data collected continuously feeds performance improvements and the development of new services.
