The on-demand transportation application that we present to you is an innovative and flexible solution to meet the diverse mobility needs of the population. It is part of a logic of collective and supportive service, making it possible to meet practical requirements while contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint and the fluidity of travel in urban and rural areas. On-demand transport is made up of two distinct parts: a service on the Middle Durance, open to adults, and FlexiTUD, specifically designed for seniors and people with disabilities in Digne-les-Bains. In addition, this service is part of an experiment in partnership with the Hub Collab for Silver, made up of the CEA (Atomic Energy and Alternative Energy Commission), the Toyota Mobility Foundation and MACIF, with the aim of testing and optimizing transport solutions to improve access to care, particularly for seniors and people with disabilities.
PAAsserelle: A new on-demand public transport on the Middle Durance
The Moyenne Durance service is intended for all adults, who can benefit from it for a variety of daily trips. It complements traditional public transport by allowing access to a vehicle adapted to demand, which can be reserved directly via the mobile application. Whether for trips to a health or administrative appointment, essential shopping, or even leisure, this part of the service allows users to plan their trips according to their specific needs.
This is collective transport, so it is possible that you share your journey with other passengers following a similar route, thus reducing the environmental impact of travel and allowing the service to be optimized for more users.
You can book up to 3 months in advance directly on the application, the website or with the Maison de Service au Public de Chateau-Arnoux Saint-Auban. The service is provided by electric shuttles adapted for People with Reduced Mobility.
FlexiTUD (Digne): Transport for seniors and people with disabilities
FlexiTUd is a solution dedicated to seniors over 90 and people with disabilities, aiming to improve their quality of life by offering them adapted mobility. This service takes into account the specificities of this public, offering comfortable and secure transport, as well as assistance with travel which can sometimes be complex or difficult to organize. The eligibility criteria are established in accordance with a regulation defined by the Municipal Social Action Center (CCAS) of the municipality. This application is accompanied by an intelligent operating system to optimize travel and promote grouping possibilities in order to meet more needs and users, it is therefore possible to share your journey with other passengers as well. You can book up to 3 months in advance directly with the driver, on the app or the website.
