This app is funded as part of the Interreg Programme Greater Region 2021–2027, a programme supported by the European Union for cross-border cooperation in the Greater Region.
About this app:
With the VRT-FlexBus, your on-demand transport service in the Saargau region, you can travel comfortably and flexibly between Temmels, Kanzem, Saarburg, Taben-Rodt, Freudenburg and the German-Luxembourg border.
With this app, you can quickly and easily request and book your VRT-FlexBus journey at any time. It doesn't matter whether you book the FlexBus just to the next stop, for example to connect to the cross-border RGTR lines or a suitable train connection, or whether you choose a direct connection to your destination.

How the new app for the VRT-FlexBus works
ENTER CONNECTION
Simply enter your start and destination addresses in the VRT-FlexBus app. The app will immediately show you whether and at what time a vehicle is available to take you where you want to go.
BOOK YOUR JOURNEY
Once a seat has been found in the next available vehicle for your fastest connection, you can book your journey directly. Before your journey begins, you can track your vehicle's location and arrival time live in the app.
TICKET
You need a valid VRT ticket to travel on the VRT-FlexBus. The good thing is that even though this flexible service is similar to booking a taxi, it costs no more than a regular bus ticket on the VRT. This means you can also use your Deutschlandticket for the FlexBus journey – at no extra cost!
ARRIVAL & EVALUATION
Once you have arrived, you can rate your journey to help improve the FlexBus service in your region.
