I had an ecobee with my old hvac, and I loved it. now I'm stuck with having to use this one, and it's horrible. you have very limited control of the system, and you can't do the easiest things like "run the fan 10min every hour" like the ecobee could. so now I find myself having it do it manually, then I forget it's running for several hours, costing me money. fix your app and give us full control. oh, and make the systems not lag 5 minutes before changing.

old app was fine. app before that was fine. this one has less information and now not sure if it's the app or the OS on the thermostat, but I cannot set my fan to always on in different comfort profiles. for that matter I cannot get the fan to be always on if I override. really miss having an ecobee thermostat, so much more robust and configurable.

Running on a Pixel 7 & literally cannot get through the setup process because there isn't a vertical scroll bar on the Stay Connected to Your Home screen with the 🔔 on it. The page is bigger than my screen vertically & I can't get to the button on the bottom of the page to advance through setup. 🙄 C'mon... you're deprecating the old app & I can't even install the new one because I can't scroll? UPDATE: Thank you for the response. I actually figured out your proposed solution days later.
