The Old and New SDA Hymnal consist of Both The New Seventh Day Adventist Hymnal (1985) and the Old Seventh Day Adventist Hymnal (The Church Hymnal 1941) in a modern package optimised for both smartphones and tablets.
Access the songs with our easy to use numeric keypad to quickly find hymns by number or use our search box to find hymns in both the old and the new hymnal.
We are actively developing so updates will come rapidly, just let us know if you encounter any bugs or need any new features and we will work on them as soon as possible. This app will always be free and we appreciate your kind gifts to help with the development of a free app for the world to sing.

Love that it has been updated, sweet and lovely

Great app! The only problem, which appears to be an issue with other hymnal apps, is that some of the lyrics are different from those of the physical hymnal. I'm recommending a comparative review with the physical hymnal to ensure accuracy and consistency.

What’s new

Enable Choir Practice in Settings to rename, mute, or solo available vocal parts.
Choose instruments and adjust volume for individual choir tracks.

Customize ensemble instruments with volume, solo, and preview controls.
Browse 111 instruments by category, including Steelpan with rolls on sustained notes.
Choir Practice overrides the selected ensemble style. Optional music controls stay hidden until enabled.
