About this game

A weather station in the eye of a planetary storm has classified its own rescue craft as threats. In IONWAKE, you pilot a converted rescue glider and open a route through the machinery.

ONE-THUMB FLIGHT
Steer with relative finger movements in the lower part of the screen. Forward flight and primary fire are automatic. Your flight line, evasive movement and careful aim make the difference. Lift your finger to hold position and comfortably regrip.

RESONANCE FLIGHT
Pass through marked energy rings to collect resonance. Hold a vulnerable target steadily in your sights to discharge a stronger shot, or save that same energy for a protective pulse.

ONE STATION, TWO ASSIGNMENTS
Precision Flight rewards clean passages and quick target changes. Rescue Corridor asks you to protect an evacuation glider and prioritize the machines threatening it. Both modes travel through exterior supports, a turbine hall and an open core chamber.

MASTER A FAMILIAR ROUTE
Missions last around three to three and a half minutes. Four enemy types and a two-phase turbine boss demand different decisions. Visible warning shapes announce incoming attacks. Three difficulty levels, local records and medals give you reasons to return. Earn an additional livery through skill.

OFFLINE AND ADJUSTABLE
No advertisements, in-app purchases or account. Adjust sensitivity, smoothing, audio, graphics quality and the shield button’s side. Haptics are optional. The models, music and effects were created for IONWAKE.

This first version includes one shared route and two playable modes. The interface is available in German and English. A guided flight school teaches the controls. An optional shield reserve and destructible rescue barriers add tactical choices. The planned Storm Trial is not yet playable.
