Most block puzzles won't let you rotate the piece. Sugar Cubes does.
That one change makes the whole game feel different. Get a piece that doesn't fit anywhere on the board? Tap it. It spins. Drop it. You're back in business.
Sugar Cubes is a candy-themed 8x8 block puzzle. Drop sugar cubes onto the grid, fill rows or columns to clear them, and chase sweet combos. The format is familiar. The rotation, the feel, and the polish are not.
What's inside:
• ROTATE ANY PIECE. Tap a piece in the tray to spin it before you place it. It's the single biggest reason this game feels fresh next to other block puzzles.
• Drag preview. A coloured ghost shows you exactly where the piece will land, and any rows or columns you'd clear light up before you commit.
• Sugar cube blocks. Every piece is a tiny bevelled cube with little sugar-grain glints that twinkle one at a time. No disco lights. Just sugar in sunlight.
• Built for one hand, portrait. The dragged piece lifts above your thumb while you move it, so you can actually see where it's going.
• Combos and bonuses. Clear a perfect tray for a bonus. Clear the whole board for a bigger one. Chain line-clears for combo toasts.
• No timers, no lives, no energy meters. Play one round on the bus or twenty in bed.
If that sounds like you, this is the one.
