Break the cycle of instant AI answers and empower students to think for themselves.
CoLearn Tutor supports healthy brain development by giving them a chance to try first before getting AI help for math and science.
Instead of copying solutions, students have to think, write, and learn from their mistakes—while you stay in control.
How it works
- Send a question: Students snap a picture of a math or science question.
- Write first, then get AI help: They must write out everything they know about how to solve it on paper. If they are completely stuck, we provide one hint to help them get started. They can’t move ahead until they submit their written work.
- CoLearn reviews their work: The app analyzes their steps, spots errors and missing ideas, and prepares targeted guidance.
- Listen while looking at their own work: Students keep their eyes on their notebook while listening to clear audio guidance that explains what went wrong and what to try next.
How this is different from other AI homework help
- No effort = no answers: We do not give answers or worked-out steps if students don’t put in any effort. They must first think and write to the best of their ability before we analyze anything.
- No open-ended chatting with AI: Students cannot conversations with AI or humans. The app is limited to analyzing their math and science questions and the work they write, so it cannot turn into endless chats that go off track.
- Audio guidance that keeps them focused: Explanations are given as audio so students stay focused on their own writing, making it easier to see and correct mistakes.
- Built-in history for parents and exams: All past questions and written work are saved. Students can review them when preparing for tests and exams. Parents can see whether students are thinking and writing out what they know.
CoLearn Tutor is for parents who want AI to play the role of a private tutor that encourages students to put in effort, supporting their brain's development, rather than providing them with quick answers.
