The i + R group
Founded in 1904, the i + R Group is now one of the ten largest owner-managed family businesses in Vorarlberg (A). The managing partners are Baumeister DI Joachim Alge and DI Reinhard Schertler.
The companies of i + R stand for highly specialized solutions in the areas of construction, real estate and excavators.
To build
• 10,000 bored piles a year in special civil engineering
• Civil engineering works on 120,000 m³ of concrete at the same time
• 100 trucks are on our way every day
• Every day, our timber construction makes 35 m³ wood and wood materials
• Around 5,000 self-made wooden windows leave our workshop every year
• As a general contractor for industry, commerce, hotels and private individuals, we realize numerous projects every year
real estate
• We sell around 500 apartments a year around Lake Constance and in South Tyrol
• We have our own site development and construction expertise
• We develop holiday properties on the Arlberg, manage cross-border real estate portfolios and have been successful in real estate development with the S + B Group for 30 years in Vienna, Prague and Warsaw
excavator
• The customers of our subsidiary Huppenkothen benefit from 4,500 construction machines in their own rental park
• 3,000 Takeuchi excavators are sold annually
• Excavator attachments from our subsidiary Martin offer maximum flexibility for our customers - making us market leaders in Austria, Switzerland, South Tyrol, Spain and CEE
• Committed to the future, we have developed an electric excavator.
In addition to the parent company in Lauterach (A), the companies of i + R have branches throughout Europe as well as a network of distribution partners. The parent company and its subsidiaries have about 1,000 employees, which generate sales of around 550 million euros. 85 apprentices are currently completing their apprenticeships in the apprenticeships Maurer, Tiefbauer, Zimmerer, carpenter, carpenter technician, construction machine technician, metal technician, information technician and office clerk.
