All Doc Reader and PDF Scanner opens the documents stored on your phone and turns paper pages into PDF files using your camera. There is no account and no sign-in.
READ YOUR DOCUMENTS
The app opens PDF files, Word documents (DOC and DOCX), Excel spreadsheets (XLS and XLSX), PowerPoint presentations (PPT and PPTX), plain text, CSV, EPUB and RTF files. Every format opens directly in the app, with no conversion step.
YOUR DOCUMENT LIBRARY
Grant storage access and the app lists the documents already saved on your device, gathered into one place. Sort them by name, date, size or file type, search by file name, mark documents as favourites, and reopen any file at the page where you stopped reading. Prefer not to grant storage access? You can still open documents one at a time through the file picker.
READING
The PDF reader gives you continuous scrolling, single page view, page thumbnails, night mode, adjustable text size and search inside the open document. Password protected PDFs open once you enter the password, and the screen stays awake while you read.
DOCUMENT SCANNER
Photograph a paper page and save it as a PDF. The app finds the page edges automatically, then straightens and crops the image. Scan several pages into one PDF, or pick photos you already have and convert those instead.
QR AND BARCODE SCANNER
Point the camera at a QR code or barcode. Website addresses, Wi-Fi details, contact cards, email addresses, phone numbers and plain text are each recognised and shown on screen.
PDF TOOLS
Merge several PDFs into one file. Split a PDF into smaller files. Compress a PDF to reduce its size. Add a password to a PDF. Save the text of a PDF as a TXT file. Find duplicate documents. See which folders take up the most storage space.
APPEARANCE AND LANGUAGES
Light and dark themes, colour theming that can follow your system wallpaper, and adjustable text size. Available in English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Turkish and Portuguese, with right to left layout for Arabic.
