Ratings and reviews

I've played through this game a few times. Fun little tower defense with an enjoyable art style. The variation in towers afoeds a large mix of strategies you can employ, and the heroes add a further intriguing layer to the gameplay. The enemies can also offer quite a challenge. All in all, a great game and one of my favorite tower defense games that I've ever played.

Fun, but pretty quick to finish. You don't have to buy anything. I finished all levels on casual and a handful on normal/hard within 2 weeks. It is challenging, but casual is doable with practice. The one downside, which I think they should change, is that there is no benefit to go for normal or hard difficulty. I 3 starred everything on casual, which allowed me to upgrade everything, so there was no point in doing the extra modes or doing them on a higher difficulty.

This game is a good example of a tower defense. The graphics are well done, and the sound is great. I recommend it. I'm giving it a 1 star rating because it crashed on me 4 times, and each time, the crash blew away a huge chunk of my crystal stash. It's an irritating experience to build up a bunch of crystals so you can trick out towers, and have a crash kill the game AND wipe out your stockpile. I lost most of the crystals I earned, by playing, to game crashes. A real bummer.
