Lost or broken fan remote? Turn your phone into one in seconds.
Fan Remote is a universal remote control for tower fans, pedestal and stand fans, ceiling fans, wall fans, air circulators and bladeless fans. It uses your phone's built-in infrared (IR) blaster to send the very same signals as the original remote, so it works offline — no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no pairing, no account.
Choose your brand, tap the remote that responds, and you are done.
★ 260+ BRANDS, 750+ REMOTES
A built-in IR code database covering fans worldwide, including Airmate, Midea, Dyson, Gree, Aux, Kelon, Royalstar, SINGFUN, Atomberg, Balmuda, Camel, Sampo, Littleswan, Arlec, Aucma, Zolee, A.O.Smith and hundreds more.
★ NO SETUP HEADACHES
Pick your brand and the app lists every remote it knows for it — Remote 1, Remote 2, Remote 3. Tap the red test button on each one until your fan reacts, then open it. One remote? It opens straight away.
★ A SPEED DIAL THAT FEELS RIGHT
A large fan dial sits in the middle of the screen: − and + on either side, tap the middle to step through speeds, and Low / Med / High buttons underneath when your fan has them. The dial spins with every press so you can see the signal went out.
★ EVERY MODE YOUR FAN HAS
Timer, Swing and Light in the Quick panel, then colour-coded tiles for Sleep, Natural wind, Cool wind, Ion / Anion, Heater, Humidify, Eco, Turbo, Mosquito repel and Mute — only the ones your model actually supports. Wind direction tiles cover swing mode, up/down, left/right and oscillate.
★ TIMER AND TEMPERATURE
Timer − / + and temperature − / + cards appear for fans that have them, alongside a 1–9 pad for models that set speed or hours by number.
★ SAVE YOUR REMOTES
Keep the bedroom fan, the living room fan and the office one side by side on the home screen. Rename them and switch code sets any time if a key stops working.
IMPORTANT — DOES YOUR PHONE HAVE AN IR BLASTER?
This app needs a phone with built-in infrared hardware. Many Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, Realme, Honor, Huawei, Samsung Galaxy (older models), TCL and Vivo phones have one; most recent iPhones and Pixels do not. The app tells you on the home screen if your phone has no IR blaster. It cannot control a fan over Wi-Fi, and it cannot control a fan that has no remote sensor at all.
HOW TO USE
1. Open the app and pick your fan brand.
2. Point the top edge of your phone at the fan's remote sensor.
3. Tap the test button on each remote in the list until the fan responds.
4. Open that remote and save it. That's it.
TIPS
- Most fans have the sensor on the control panel; aim there from a few metres.
- If some keys work and others don't, switch to another remote for the same brand with the CHANGE button.
PRIVACY
No account, no sign-up, no personal data collection. Your saved remotes stay on your phone. The app shows ads to stay free, and asks for your consent choices where the law requires it — you can change them any time from the Privacy button on the home screen.
DISCLAIMER
Fan Remote is an independent universal remote application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to any fan or appliance manufacturer. All company names, brand names, product names and trademarks mentioned in this listing or shown inside the app belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe which devices the infrared codes can control.
The app works only through the infrared (IR) blaster built into your phone. It cannot control a device over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or the internet, and it will not work on a phone without IR hardware. Manufacturers use different code sets across models, regions and production years, so a fan may answer only some keys, or none. Try the other remotes for your brand with CHANGE before leaving a review — that solves most cases.
Free, lightweight, and built to replace the remote you can never find.
