About this app

This smartphone app provides users with both SOS and Man Down alarm activation. SOS/Emergency facilities can be easily accessed from an on-screen button, widget, power button press sequence, dedicated SOS button on Ecom/Sonim smartphones and via an external SOS button such as UrSOSButton. Positioning of a lone worker is via GPS, WiFi and BLE Beacon giving both outdoor and indoor location services. Alerts can be delivered via GSM (SMS & Voice Call), 3G, 4G and WiFi giving users the best available coverage.

Atlas SOS operates in the background so it’s available when it’s needed most.

Atlas SOS integrates with any Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and the Aspect PPS alert management system. Combining Atlas SOS with the Aspect PPS provides users with unparalleled support when working alone or at tasks with higher risk.

Activation:
SOS via on-screen SOS button. Vibration feedback and positive action detection help prevent false activations
Optional wireless SOS button.
Overcomes locked and/or PIN protected screens
Integrates with Doro, Sonim/ecom EX and other rugged smartphone dedicated buttons
Man Down detection with pre-warning vibration and sound even if the screen is locked
Man Down activation on angle, angle and no motion or no motion only

GPS Integration:
Configurable GPS update intervals
Sleep GPS if no motion is detected
Configurable GPS Fix timeout
GPS Position transmission on alert activation
Output is in NMEA RMC or GT/TK103 protocol format for easy integration

WiFi Positioning:
Position users based on WiFi Access Points
