Accessibility Service Usage
iSafe Citizen uses Android's AccessibilityService API solely to detect volume button presses after the feature has been manually enabled by the user.
This feature allows users to trigger an emergency SOS alert when they may be unable to interact with the device screen during an emergency.
When the configured volume button action is detected, the app can:
Send an emergency SOS alert to our emergency response control centre.
Share your current location with authorised responders.
Notify your registered emergency contacts.
It is used only for emergency SOS activation and does not read screen content, capture keystrokes, monitor user activity, or access data from other applications.
Important Information
Accessibility Service is disabled by default.
You must manually enable Accessibility Service in your device's Accessibility Settings.
You can disable the service at any time from Settings > Accessibility.
Accessibility Service is used only to detect volume button presses for emergency SOS activation.
The service does not read screen content, capture keystrokes, monitor user activity, or access information unrelated to emergency assistance.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Personal information, including your profile details, emergency contacts, and location, is collected only as required to provide emergency assistance and app functionality. Information is processed securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Send SOS alerts, report emergencies, and track assistance in real time.
