Great idea but it often doesn't work... In many apps (including Texpand itself!!) it doesn't work. For example it works in the Subject field in Gmail, but not in the main Body. Even in Texpand itself: I have a shortcut mc% for Merry Christmas but when, as a test, I enter those characters in the Description field of another shortcut it doesn't expand.
It would be 5 except Every time I close the app, I need to reopen the app and switch accessibility for the app to On again, otherwise the app doesn't take effect. A shame because I hate leaving apps open and this is really promising
Awesome All i needed was the ability to expand "qq" into "?" And "pp" into "!" Which makes typing these two very common punctuation marks a breeze. The last thing i wanted was to install a new keyboard and waste the resources most of them require for their advanced features. Thank you. Easy to set up and does exactlt what i needed.
lifesaver This thing saved me. Using it for multiple groups of hashtags for Instagram and Google+ (Yup, I'm one of them...). Works brilliantly and saves a lot of time from remembering and typing in all the appropriate ones.
Broken in Gmail and Inbox Used to work in Google's email apps, but not anymore. It will work if you put text into the subject line, but not the body of the email. Fix this and it will be 5 stars.
Wonderful Text expander for Android Using a Text Expander as I do with my coding and using the concept, such as Emmitt, on SublimeText and Atom made the decision to install and test this app a no Brainer.
