About this app

Safe Notes is a notepad application that stores your notes in a secure manner using 128 bit encryption and provides quick & easy access using a simple pin number or a secret question/answer (can be used like a password instead of pin). Notes can be identified using a separate title instead of just the first line of the note. Safe Notes stores all your data on the device instead of uploading your personal information to the internet. Safe Notes is easy to use and provides a simple interface. Remembers login for 1 minute so you do not have to login again if you navigate away for a short time.

Delete notes by long tapping on a note in the list.

Please update and run Safe Notes before upgrading to Gingerbread (Android 2.3). This is required to ensure you will be able to access your notes after upgrading your phone/device.

I've used this app for years and loved it. Lately though there seems to be no way to add a title to any new note you want to add, it just comes as "No Title" in the list. My guess is that the top banner showing "Safe Notes Pro 4.9.91" is covering the input box for the title. Even adding "Change Title" to the existing "Edit Note" and "Delete Note" in the context menu would work too. Phone is OnePlus Nord N10 5G, Android v11. The notes are pretty unusable without titles.

I have been using the app for 20 years and have been very pleased with it. I too have suddenly found the top banner now covers the title box. The only way round it is to have it in landscape mode and you can just see enough of the title block to be able to add a title. If you save a note with no title it is listed as 'No title' in the index. It would be great if the developers could fix this recent bug. Otherwise no complaints.

I just found out from my sister that if you turn the phone to landscape mode you'll see a thin title bar where you can add the title. It will show up like normal after you save the note. I gave it a try and it worked.
