About Bhakti Vikasa Swami:

His Holiness Bhakti Vikāsa Swami appeared in this world in 1957 in England. He joined the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in London in 1975 and was initiated in that year with the name Ilāpati dāsa by ISKCON’s founder-ācārya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedānta Swami Prabhupāda.From 1977 to 1979 His Holiness was based in India, mostly traveling in West Bengal preaching Kṛṣṇa consciousness and distributing Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books. He then spent the following ten years helping to pioneer ISKCON’s preaching in Bangladesh, Burma, Thailand, and Malaysia.

In 1989 he was granted the order of sannyāsa, receiving the name Bhakti Vikāsa Swami, and again made his base in India.He has since travelled widely throughout the subcontinent, lecturing in English, Hindi, and Bengali. His Holiness also travels to and preaches Kṛṣṇa consciousness in other parts of the world.

He continues to write books and magazine articles. His books have been translated into more than fifteen languages.

Hare Krishna to all the Vaishnavas Please accept my humble obeisances The app is really great and I appreciate the efforts devotees are putting in this app to please BVKS maharaj... but there is only one problem I am facing... The progress since you joined is not reflecting when the screen is off and I am still listening for hours, it doesnt reflect in the app.. it only records when you are watching the lecture when the screen is turned on.... Usually I watch the lectures after downloading them

hare Kṛṣṇa prabhu, one bug i wanted to point out in the app is that when we click on the top slider of the playlists, it opens the all series of talks but if we click on any talk other than 1st talk in that playlist then that playlist's first talk is played not the one which we choose.

Amazing - keeps getting better and better! I've been using this app since it launched. And while I was pleased with it then, I really enjoy that the developers keep releasing updates with new features that are actually useful and work well.
