About this app

ItineraRius is the RIVUS Foundation's application for discovering the river spaces of the Besòs and Tordera basins through itineraries for walking, running or cycling.

The rivers of the Vallès hide much more than it seems: riverside forests, more than 300 species of birds, centuries-old hydraulic heritage and the return of emblematic species such as the otter. ItineraRius puts it in your hands.

ROUTES
• The great river paths of the Congost, Mogent, Tenes, Ripoll, Riera de Caldes, Besòs and Tordera, with their branches and connections.
• Complete file of each route: route, distance, numbered points of interest and highlighted species.
• Download the GPX track or follow the route on Wikiloc.

INTERACTIVE MAP
• All the itineraries drawn on the map, with satellite or topographic background.
• Activateable layers: basins, rivers and areas of the Natura 2000 Network.
• Touch a point on the map to see the name of the route and enter its file.

SEARCH AND FILTERS
• Filter by basin, by river, by distance or by type of route: ItineraRius, Natura 2000 Network, River Path or Connection.

NATURE AND HERITAGE
• Species of fauna and flora of each route, with photograph, scientific name and description.
• Points of interest with the history of hydraulic heritage: mills, locks, ice wells, washhouses and aqueducts.

PARTICIPATE
• Share your photos of the routes with the community.
• Check the activity agenda and news from the RIVUS Foundation.
• Send us suggestions from the app mailbox.

ItineraRius is part of the "Rivers in your hands" campaign, an initiative of the RIVUS Foundation in collaboration with the Besòs Tordera Consortium to bring citizens closer to the rivers of our territory and contribute to protecting them.
