Are investors fearful or greedy today? The Crypto Fear And Greed Index turns the mood of the whole crypto market into one simple number from 0 to 100, updated every day, and this app puts it on your phone in a clean, easy-to-read gauge.

WHAT IS THE FEAR & GREED INDEX?
The crypto market is driven by emotion. When prices rise, people get greedy and buy out of FOMO. When prices fall, people panic-sell. The index measures those emotions across several data sources and combines them into a single daily score:

• 0 – 24: Extreme Fear
• 25 – 49: Fear
• 50 – 74: Greed
• 75 – 100: Extreme Greed

Extreme Fear can mean investors are too worried, which has historically been a buying opportunity. Extreme Greed can mean the market is overheated and due for a correction. Warren Buffett's rule says it best: "Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful."

HOW THE INDEX IS CALCULATED
The score is built from several signals, each weighted:
• Volatility (25%)
• Market momentum and volume (25%)
• Social media (15%)
• Bitcoin dominance (10%)
• Google Trends (10%)
• Surveys (15%, currently paused)

The index currently reflects Bitcoin, which drives sentiment for the wider crypto market.
