About this app

Tired of repeating "move that phone back!" a hundred times a day? iVisionGuard monitors the screen distance for you — and quietly builds the habit, until your child holds the phone at a safe distance on their own.

You set the phone down, your child picks it up, and inches it back to their nose. iVisionGuard takes those reminders off your hands — and protects their eyesight without the daily argument.

WHAT SCREEN DISTANCE MEANS

Screen distance is how far the screen sits from your eyes. Around 35 cm is the distance eye specialists point to as comfortable for reading on a phone. Closer than that, for hours a day, is what leaves young eyes tired and sore by evening.

Most apps measure screen time — how long your child looks at the screen. iVisionGuard measures screen distance — how close they hold it.

HOW IT WORKS

When the phone comes closer than the safe screen distance (default: 35 cm), iVisionGuard:

• Shows a gentle visual alert
• Plays a soft sound — the built-in tone, or your own voice recorded in the app
• Auto-dims the screen

The reminder stops as soon as the phone is moved back. A quiet nudge that, repeated over weeks, builds a healthy habit.

WHY PARENTS CHOOSE IT

✓ Builds a habit that lasts
Each alert teaches. After a week or two, alerts become rare. After a month, they're occasional. Your child starts holding the phone at a safe distance on their own — the app stays quietly in the background as a safety net.

✓ Your own voice as the reminder
Record your voice in the app and use it as the alert sound. The built-in tone works just as well — pick whichever your child responds to.

✓ Settings locked from your child (Plus)
PIN or biometric lock keeps the threshold and protection settings safe. Once active, only your code can change the safe distance or turn off the alerts.

✓ Calm alerts that children quickly accept
A soft reminder, like a seatbelt chime. Children adapt within days. The phone stays open — only the position changes.

✓ Privacy by design
All processing on-device. The camera reads distance locally — alerts come from your phone, the data stays there.

PROTECTION FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

You install it for your child. The same protection works for you too — and on every Android phone and tablet in the family. We all hold the phone too close: scrolling in bed, after a long day, during long reading sessions. Your eyes deserve the same care you give your child's. Set the threshold once, and iVisionGuard quietly reminds whoever picks up the device.
