Simigeria Matei was born out of love for the Romanian tradition and nostalgia for the dishes made by the gentle hands of the grandmother.

We have brought the authentic Romanian taste to our fresh products, with quality ingredients - which mist the windows of our stores every morning. With favorable prices and a strong infusion of Romanian essence, our mission is to delight every Romanian with the taste of our products - from the first pretzel to the last pie. Among the high-quality ingredients we use in the preparation of Matei's goodies, there are only eggs from responsibly raised, cage-free hens (number 2 eggs).

The kneading of the dough, the amount of salt and the freshness of the vegetables and meat – all these are followed with love and attention, in order to follow our recipes exactly and to respect you. When hundreds of customers enjoy our products daily, the satisfaction of providing them with more than a hunger-relieving product is what gives us soul warmth and confirms the quality of our work.
