Every journey leaves a trace.
Trace is a route log and rider community that records the path you take. Start recording and drive: distance, time, climbs, and the entire route are written for you. You don't need to fiddle with your phone during the ride; recording continues even when the screen is locked.
RIDES ARE PRIVATE BY DEFAULT. No ride is ever published automatically. Even when you choose to share a ride, the start and end of the route are cropped with a random radius; your home and work addresses are unreadable on the published map. Your maximum speed is never uploaded to the server, and the ride time is not recorded.
NO SPEED RANKING. Trace is not a racing app. No ranking, no badges, no "fastest." What we measure is the road itself: how many kilometers, how many curves, how many climbs.
FROM MOTORCYCLE TO TRUCK. Motorcycle, car, caravan, truck, and semi-truck. Each ride is recorded with its own vehicle class.
ROAD CHARACTERISTICS Underneath each ride is a curve profile: curves per kilometer, total climb, road character.
COMMUNITY Create your driver card, follow other drivers, browse routes in Discover. Share a ride you like with your followers or via link.
ANNUAL TRACK At the end of the year, see how many kilometers, how many rides, which roads, all in one card.
