About this app

Kaeshir Dictionary is a free English to Kashmiri dictionary app. It has an open-source database of which majority of the words are collected by the developer himself.

It is an offline dictionary, internet connection is required only once, when you launch the app for the first time. After that everything works offline except the audio.

The app automatically syncs the data with the remote database while preserving its offline functionality. The database of this app contains about 4.5K Kashmiri words with more than 700 words which have audio pronunciations.

Currently there are 15 material themes which you can choose as per your convenience and all 15 themes support both light and dark mode.

Users can suggest new words which may be included in the dictionary if the new words are found authentic.

The sole motto of this project is to keep our beloved mother tongue alive forever. Moreover, I've already added a Python library (pip install kashmiri) and web support (https://izan-majeed.github.io/kaeshirdictionary) to this project.
