I like J1 and this app is just simple, is basically a radio on internet it works just fine and has 3 options for radio stations depending on what kind of japanese music style do you want to hear, for me is a simple way of listening a different variety of songs they also have a chart that I use to follow. Recommend if you want to just hear japanese emusic with no ads.

A developer got back with me, saying they fixed it. Thank you. The fact that they fixed it and not just ignore me is great. Thank you again. 10 stars if I could.

I looked into that. It appears your device may have trouble playing HTTPS streams. (The Christmas channel was HTTP) I have changed the other 4 channels to HTTP streams on the app. Please try it again and see if it now works for you. Thanks for your comments.
