Pretty good I was looking for an app that would help a friend who was in the hospital to communicate and this one is nice but it is more designed for kids and couldn't help my friend as she was unable to open her eyes (she's a fully normal adult but was unable to communicate after due to brain trauma). Thankfully I found an app called TouchSpeller and it allows my friend to communicate!
Best AAC app ever! Absolutely love this app. I have used it to affordable turn two android devices into AAC devices for my nonverbal son. It's complete flexibility in what images and voices I can use has been wonderful. I'm even adding it to my phone so that when my son doesn't have the other devices available, he can still communicate. My only wish is that it was available for iPhone & iPad as well. Just because we have a spare iPhone that would make a good sturdy carry around device. And this beats all of the other apps we've tried on iPhone - hands down.
JABtalk Extremely good for a young teenage boy I work with. It's free too :) I strongly recommend it and have passed it on to speech therapists and occupational therapists.
Love this! My son is non verbal 4 yr old with Autism and this is amazing to help him communicate with us! We can tailor it to his likes/needs and adjust accordingly. And whats even better is in the settings there is an option to disable the back button, brilliant for us as our son has learnt to exit apps using "back" amazing app.
Very good! One serious disadvantage: it does not fit for right to left languages: to support it needed only to enable sentence building right to left. Dear developers please do it!
Love it! The only issue I have is that I wish I could sync my tablet and phone without having to do everything twice. I think it will become an excellent tool for my daughter Thanks!
