Sometimes crashes immediately after starting, but starting it again usually works. The navigation buttons and the Android back button don't work properly. The live stream player on the main screen never says what program is playing. However, when the player is shown on an article page, it does display program names. Live streams are often interrupted, even with an excellent network connection. The app turns up the volume of the phone ON ITS OWN!

Edit 12/1/25: Works now, but I keep getting warnings for the app using excessive background data/battery. Fix this. This was before the brand switch: Broken - it's been 2 years since an update. What gives? I stopped using it a while ago because it just stops streaming after a time. You need an app like the BBC that runs on the phone and not off the website so it doesn't stop after the screen timing out.

This app has been totally frustrating! As I listen, there are frequent interruptions, and I often lose the gist of the story. At first I thought it was my phone or internet connection, but both are in excellent condition, and no other apps I use have this problem. If I listen to the stream on my computer, this doesn't happen. I use a Samsung Galaxy note S9, a very solid phone for all my other uses, and have a 200 Mbs system from Xfinity.
