About this app

Before opening your social media, open your Bible.

Bible First helps you put God's Word first in your day. You choose the apps that distract you (social media, games, videos…). They stay locked until you've read the Bible for the time you set, from 1 to 60 minutes. When your reading is done, your apps unlock for the day. At midnight they lock again, and you start fresh tomorrow.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Answer a short questionnaire.
2. Turn on Bible First's accessibility service in Android settings.
3. Pick the apps to lock.
4. Read the Bible for the time you chose.
5. Your apps unlock.

The lock uses Android's accessibility service only to detect when an app you picked is opened and to show the "Read the Bible to unlock" screen. Bible First does not read your screen content, collects nothing and sends nothing. Everything stays on your phone.
