About YAD:
The Youth Association for Development (YAD) is a youth lead initiative based in Baluchistan and whose roots with a core of volunteers in different districts of Pakistan. YAD is a human rights-based approach with a multi-sector development organization working on a participatory development approach to bring long-term change & sustainable development to society. The idea of a civil society organization evolved when a group of likeminded people working in the social, democratic, freedoms, justice, climate, gender, feminists, human rights, health, education, and development sector in Baluchistan and had enough exposure and experience got together on 2002 and initiated the dialogue among themselves on the local issues, challenges, needs, gaps, and demands the group concluded the need for an organization which can address these issues through a holistic approach with contributing to Sustainable Development Goals.

About Project:
Youth Association for Development (YAD) with the support of Gilead Sciences Inc. ALL4LIVER Grant Program Asia 2021 is implementing the project elimination of hepatitis through partnership, engagement, digital and artificial intelligence-based systems in district Quetta, Pakistan. The project objective is to establish a diverse and inclusive partnership with plans of action and engagement patients and communities that lead to increasing hepatitis awareness in communities and collaboratively eliminating viral hepatitis and to produce the strategic digital and artificial intelligence-based systems that improve the access between hepatitis services seekers and hepatitis services providers that lead to eliminating hepatitis in district Quetta, the project key milestones are the elimination of hepatitis through diverse and inclusive partnerships with the engagement of patients & communities, establishing community-based resource centers, establishing hepatitis self-help, and self-care support groups they will play their active role in the communities, producing digital and artificial intelligence-based systems, utilizing mobile technologies and artificial intelligence through producing hepatitis connect App, establishing a hepatitis lifeline helpline center, and digital campaign, driving hepatitis awareness and self-care and increasing access between hepatitis services seekers and hepatitis services providers through awareness sessions and mini cinematic sessions in district Quetta. The project contributes to the SDGs, Good Health and Wellbeing SDG3, Gender Equality SDG5, and Reduced Inequalities SDG10
About ALL4LIVER GRANT:
ALL4LIVER GRANT is for a healthier world that is hepatitis-free, ALL4LIVER Grant supports local communities to enhance education about viral hepatitis across Asia in 2021. Hepatitis B and C affect 325 million people worldwide. More than 3% of the world’s population is estimated to be living with chronic hepatitis B (HBV). According to the World Health Organization, hepatitis B has contributed to approximately 887,000 deaths, mostly from cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). To facilitate the fight against viral hepatitis and empower those who can help bring this conversation to the forefront, Gilead launched ALL4LIVER, a grant program to support local communities to enhance education about viral hepatitis across Asia in 2021.
