Edited: Worked very well until android update. Lost all notes. I was looking for something less of a widget and more of an editable wallpaper. the widget takes up min 4 slots. has quick notes and menu pinned to the top 2 rows of the widget & cannot be removed. 2of4 slots Huge space wasted. There is no autosave. switching screens loses data. Very hard to multi-task this way.

So beautifully simple and functional. Whenever I need to quickly note something -- someone's phone number, appointment details, a reminder to myself to buy milk -- I can do it right from my homescreen with this app. It's much faster than opening up other apps, and it's right there on my homescreen so I see it every time I open my phone. I can transfer notes to Evernote, Out of Milk, or Google Calendar later, but this widget is perfect for when I just need to write something down quickly.

This is the first time i am writing a review for an app. The only reason i decided to write is that great things must be appreciated. I think this app has been made by some independent developer; if that is the case, i salute him/her. One improvement that would be great is that the notes can be made collapsable, i.e, showing only the headings/title. This way, large number of notes can be browsed at a glance, and the user can simply tap on the required note to read it fully in the widget itself.
