Living Scenes Wallpaper

About this app

Living Scenes Wallpaper turns your home screen into a mountain scene that lives through your day - real sunrise, real sunset and real weather, not a looping animation.

REAL TIME, REAL PLACE
The sky moves through dawn, day, dusk and night in sync with the actual sunrise and sunset where you are. Live local weather drives what you see: scattered clouds on a cloudy day, rain or snow when it's really raining or snowing outside, and a subtle warm or cool colour grade as the temperature changes.

ONE HAND-CRAFTED LIVING SCENE: MOUNTAINS
- Layered mountain ridges with a graded, hand-tuned silhouette
- A distant village whose windows light up at night
- A palm tree strung with fairy lights that glow after dark
- A nocturnal owl that comes out between dusk and dawn
- A meadow of trees and a small palm forest along the shoreline

FREE DESKTOP VERSION INCLUDED
Buying the app also gets you Living Wallpaper for Windows and Mac - the same living scene on your computer. The download link is inside the app.

LOCK SCREEN TOO
Still-image mode puts the same scene, with the real time of day and weather, on your lock screen and refreshes it every 30 minutes. On phones that can't run live wallpapers, it can cover your home screen as well.

WEATHER AT A GLANCE
An optional on-wallpaper weather panel shows your local temperature, conditions, clock and sunrise/sunset. Pick from four layouts (Full, Slim, Badge or Pill), or turn it off and add one of four matching home-screen widgets instead.

SEE THE WHOLE DAY IN 90 SECONDS
The built-in preview fast-forwards a full day - sunrise to sunset to night - in about 90 seconds, with Clear, Rain and Snow presets, so you can see every condition without waiting for the weather to change.

EASY SETUP ON ANY PHONE
Some phones hide the live wallpaper setting. If setting it doesn't work the first time, the app shows the steps for your phone's brand, or offers still-image mode instead.

RESPECTS YOUR DEVICE
- No account, no sign-up, no ads
- Your approximate location is used only to look up local sunrise/sunset times and weather
- Battery-friendly: the scene redraws only as often as it needs to
- Works on Android 7.0 and up

Set it once, and your wallpaper keeps pace with the real sky outside your window.
