Your photos, sorted right in your gallery.
ShotFolder isn't another app you have to open to see your photos.
The moment you shoot, it files each shot into an album in your phone's own gallery.
Open your gallery and the "Work", "Site A" and "Home" albums are already sorted.
■ 📍 SHOT AT WORK? IT GOES TO WORK
Give a folder a place. Stand there and tap [I'm here] once — that's the setup.
From then on, just shoot the way you always do. No widget, no app.
Shots taken at work land in Work. Shots taken on site land in Site A.
· Decided by the location your camera writes into each photo (turn on location tags)
· Choose a range from 100 m to 1 km
· Shots taken anywhere else are left alone
· A silent notification tells you: "Filed 3 shots into Work"
· Locations never leave your phone
■ IF YOU CAME LOOKING FOR
"Can photos go into a folder automatically when I shoot?"
-> That is exactly what this does.
"I want to change where my camera saves photos"
-> Your camera settings stay untouched. Each shot is filed afterwards, into the folder you picked.
"Sorting my gallery albums wears me out"
-> Sorting days of backlog is the painful part. Split at capture time and nothing is left to sort.
■ TWO WAYS TO USE IT
1. By place — for places you go every day, set it once and forget it.
2. One widget tap — want this batch somewhere else? Tap a folder on the home-screen widget, then shoot.
· Small widget: one folder. Wide widget: up to four
· The widget shows how many shots went in today
· A folder picked on the widget wins over the place rule
■ KEEP YOUR OWN CAMERA
Most organizer apps ship their own camera, and you lose pro mode, burst,
video and every setting your thumbs already know.
ShotFolder opens the camera you already use — Samsung Camera, Google Camera, Open Camera, whatever you like.
■ FILES GET NAMED FOR YOU
20261008_143022.jpg -> Work_1008_001_Soho.jpg
· Folder name, date, shot number, place name — only the parts you turn on
· Place names need no internet, so it works in an underground car park too
■ NOTHING CAN GET LOST
ShotFolder never copies your photos. Only the folder and the name change.
The photo itself is never touched — no date or location stamp is burned in.
Filed something to the wrong place? One [Undo] in settings puts it back.
■ ALSO IN THE BOX
· Catch-up — when you open the app, it points out shots that weren't filed
· One folder per day — for jobs that run for several days
· Zip and send — share a whole folder in one go
· Quick Settings tile — pull down the shade, tap to start or stop
· Switch folders mid-shoot — right from the notification
■ WHO IT'S FOR
· Anyone shooting job sites daily — construction, interiors, HVAC, landscaping
· Anyone logging visits — inspections, repairs, deliveries
· Anyone who wants work shots kept apart from personal ones
· Anyone whose gallery got too big to face
■ NO SERVER
No account. No login.
Photos, locations and records stay on your phone and never leave it.
We collect no personal data at all.
Try every feature free for 7 days, then keep it with a single one-time purchase. Not a subscription.
